About Us
At Maybe Later, we’ve always been passionate about making marketing feel approachable, impactful, and grounded in purpose. What started as an email marketing agency has evolved into something much bigger. Over the years, we noticed a pattern:
…every successful email strategy we built started with a customer journey map. These maps had an incredible impact on our clients’ marketing, lead quality, and sales pipeline predictability. The results were so transformative that we realised we couldn’t stop there.
Today, we specialise in customer experience design—helping service-based businesses like yours map out seamless, practical customer journeys that drive real results. Because let’s face it, most strategy and mapping feels overly complicated and unhelpful. We’re here to change that.
We’re also proud to work with an incredible team of freelancers and associates who help bring our projects to life. Their expertise and creativity allow us to deliver exceptional results for every client.
A love for stories and data
At Maybe Later, we love combining the art of storytelling with the science of data.
Why?
Because data is the key to understanding people, and stories are the best way to build real connections online.
Together, they help us create seamless, customer-first experiences for our clients.
Our mission is to support purpose-driven teams and organisations to tell their stories authentically, connect with their audiences, and create meaningful change.
And it just so happens that clear, actionable strategies are the best way to make that change last. Whether it’s mapping your customer journey, refining your email marketing, or designing a strategy that finally makes sense, we’re here to make it simpler, better, and more effective.

A note from our founder
Hi! I’m Alex, the founder of Maybe Later. We’re based in the North East of England, but my roots trace back to South Africa. The name Maybe Later is inspired by a popular saying back home:
“now now.” It’s what we say when someone asks when we’re going to do something we’ve been putting off—something we’re not really going to do right now.
How would you use it in a sentence?
“Hey, when are you going to sort out those email marketing audience lists?”
“Now now”—a.k.a. Maybe Later (which we all know means probably never).
For me, the name embodies a mix of humour and the very human tendency to procrastinate. But here at Maybe Later, we’re all about turning that ‘now now’ energy into action—helping businesses like yours find that marketing flow.
